Maury D. Jackson, D.Min. Chair, Pastoral Studies Department and Associate Professor Practical Theology, HMS Richards Divinity School of La Sierra University, spoke at ANC for Black History Month celebration Sabbath.
His message, entitled “Family Formation, Social Deformation, and Faithful Reform” highlighted those three key points. He implored ANC to challenge surface reading of the Bible, discern God’s presence amid clutter, and apply lessons to contemporary issues in our personal lives.
